Production Chef

Forming an integral part of our wholesale, restaurant and retail machine, we’re looking for a dedicated and hardworking production chef to join our team. Based in our stunning new Hackney facility and working in our high-spec kitchen, you’ll produce a range of The Sea, The Sea staples - from stocks to sauces that will be supplied to some of the best restaurants in the city to mise en place for our own restaurants and retail offering. You’ll need experience prepping on a large scale, so the role would be well suited to a chef with hotel, large restaurant or high end production kitchen experience. 
While this isn’t a customer-facing role, you’ll have a dedication and drive to uphold our standards of excellence and produce outstanding products that represent our brand. Full training and support will be given as you work alongside our executive chef, operations manager and head fishmonger. 

 Roles and responsibilities: 

  • Preparing fish and ingredients for production
  • Following chef-led recipes
  • Basic stock management
