Part-time Bookkeeper
Hackney and Remote

We're on the hunt for a capable and dependable part-time bookkeeper to help support the day-to-day running of the business. With flexible working, you'll be able to be be based remotely and out of our Hackney site.

 

You'll form an important part of our growing business and will be supported by our external accounting team.

As we expand new areas of the business and look to grow our marketshare in London, we're looking for talented staff to help us succeed. That's where you'll fit in. You'll be a strong performer with a proven track record and knowledgebase. You'll have experience in a wholesale business or similar and you'll know what it takes to manage accounts on a daily basis. 

 

You'll have great interpersonal skills, be able to talk to clients, be adept at handling disputes, and be proactive in all aspects of the role. 

 

With the role offering work from home, you'll need to be able to keep on top of all tasks independently and be able to operate without direct instruction. From time to time, you'll need to come to our Hackney site, so you do need to have easy access to London. 

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Part time management of wholesale and retail account customers 
  • Managing correspondence 
  • Credit control 
  • Account administration
  • Looking after small payments on behalf of company 
  • Managing debtors and creditors list
  • Liaising with external accountants

 

Your qualites:

  • 3 years experience in a similar role
  • Previous wholesale business experience (or similar) 
  • A competent self-starter with excellent time management skills
  • A proven record of working remotely successfully
  • Stock management experience is a bonus

 

You must be eligible to work in the UK.
